Dawn Boone, Administrative Specialist


Customers know Dawn for her always-helpful service and perfect proofreading. Behind the scenes, she handles billing, accounting and other vital functions.

Dawn has been with Preferred Business since 2005, and enjoys window shopping and taking long walks.


Cheryl Gardinier, Operations Manager


Cheryl makes sure that your job gets done right and on time!

She has been with Preferred Business since 1993, and has years of experience in all of our departments: Sales and Service, Accounting, Inventory, Shipping and Receiving and everything in between.

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys many outdoor activities and is an advocate for wildlife conservation.


Mike Just, Inventory Control Specialist


Mike handles inventory, forms management, e-commerce and releases from the warehouse. He makes sure that you get the supplies you need as quickly as possible, and he keeps our print shop stocked to fulfill any request.

Mike has been with Preferred Business since 2005. He plays games of all descriptions and is a cartoon aficionado.


Dennis Kiernan, Business Development & Service Representative

Since 1982, Dennis has established and nurtured business relationships by helping customers with all of their printing needs. He gets tremendous satisfaction from exceeding client expectations, and has developed a team of people who share his desire to serve customers by going above and beyond. He also is constantly learning and implementing new technologies to make sure that Preferred Business remains a valuable, informed business partner.

Dennis’ personal interests include coaching, volunteering and everything outdoors.

Jen brings personalized attention, seamless execution and exceptional service to every project. From concept to delivery, she is committed to making sure that your project is successful.

Jen has been with Preferred Business since 2006. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.

Stefanie Smith

Stefanie Smith, Sales – Small Business Specialist


Stephanie has been with Preferred Business for over 20 years. Her strong corporate background in sales and marketing gives her the know-how to help small businesses and nonprofits with everything from advertising to commercial printing.

From business cards and order forms to gala journals and invitations, Stefanie does it all. She makes sure you get the goods and services you need at a price you can afford.

Stephanie is a yoga and health enthusiast, and enjoys traveling with her husband.

John Vargas

John Vargas, Digital Imaging Specialist


John is a graphic artist and photographer with deep experience in all areas of print and design. He oversees print production, from design through printing and shipping. He also uses the latest technologies to make sure your project comes out better than you expected!

John has been with Preferred Business since 2010. He enjoys listening to music and spending time with his family.
