Preferred Business has joined forces with Bikes For The World to collect donated bicycles and have them distributed to children and families in developing countries. Bikes For The World main mission is to make quality used bicycles and parts affordable and available to lower income people and select institutions in developing countries to enhance their lives and livelihoods through better transport. They also generate skilled employment in bicycle repair and maintenance overseas, and to provide satisfying environment and humanitarian community service opportunities for volunteers in the United States. Preferred Business is now the only drop-off location in Westchester. It doesn’t make a difference what condition the bike is in, Bikes For The World will put it to good use.
